MARCELA MELO
Architect, Civil Engineer and Founding Member
Marcela is an architect and civil engineer with an emphasis on structures, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She is distinguished by her outstanding experience in large-scale architectural projects and her interdisciplinary approach. As Project Leader at Taller Siete, she has successfully directed the development and technical coordination of various housing and commercial projects in Bogotá, Santa Marta, Cogua Cundinamarca, Cali and Valle del Cauca. Her ability to work in a team, her persistence and openness to new experiences are reflected in the efficient execution of projects, where her participation in architectural design, development of construction details and BIM coordination stands out. Marcela has also demonstrated her leadership capacity in the preparation of record structural plans for the New Metropolitan Police Command Center, with more than 38,000 m2, during her time as a freelance engineer at the Urban Security Consortium. Her experience at Banco Davivienda, where she served as a University Apprentice in the National Directorate of Construction Credit, provides a comprehensive understanding of urban, architectural and environmental analysis in real estate projects. With a history of notable achievements, such as the creation of efficient methodologies for the evaluation and approval of processes with construction companies, Marcela Melo positions herself as a highly qualified and dedicated professional, ready to contribute her experience and skills to architectural projects on an international scale.
